Color: Deep, dark amber with rich copper hues thick legs that hint at its high proof and full body.
Aroma: Bold and expressive. Notes of brown sugar, caramel, and vanilla lead the way, followed by dark cherry, baked apple, maple syrup, toasted oak, and hints of cinnamon, clove, and cocoa. There’s a warm ethanol presence, but it’s balanced by sweetness and depth.
Taste: Powerful and full bodied. A rush of sweet oak, vanilla custard, and toffee upfront, layered with dark fruit (cherry, blackberry), molasses, and baking spices. As it develops, flavors of charred oak, black pepper, and cinnamon emerge, finishing long and warming with lingering spice, cocoa, and oak sweetness.
